ONE-ON-ONE
STRENGTHS-BASED
COACHING
People want to thrive in their roles. Yet often professional development starts by focusing on how we can improve one’s weaknesses and ignores one’s strengths. Instead, what if you could explore your potential through the lenses of knowledge, strengths and purpose?
At Polly Chandler Coaching, we know that in order to produce positive results we must start by focusing on talents. Sadly, people are often unaware of their unique abilities, talents and strengths. In Strengths-based Coaching we help you discover, develop and use your unique capabilities to improve your performance.
DURING ONE-ON-ONE STRENGTHS-BASED COACHING, YOU WILL:
Take a Strengths Finder 2.0 Assessment.
Polly Chandler is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach so each engagement starts by taking a Strengths Finder 2.0 Assessment.
Build a Talent Map.
Coaching starts around your Strengths Analysis where we get clear on your potential by analyzing the results of your Strengths Finder 2.0 Assessment and your top five strengths. For leaders, this map helps you identify specific ways to leverage your talents in strategic thinking, influencing others, execution of tasks and relationship building.
Schedule hour-long coaching sessions based on your needs.
Initially, we suggest two to three sessions per month to identify your goals and move forward on your professional development path. As we solidify your goals, and you gain momentum on your strategy, we will adjust the meeting schedule accordingly.
Be required to take action!
This process requires commitment. At the end of each coaching session we will discuss action steps to be completed before
our next session. These assignments are crafted together and are focused on ensuring you reach your goals.
OUTCOMES
- Greater ability to leverage your talents towards specific goals.
- Increased awareness of how at times our strengths can become a weakness and how to navigate this dynamic.
- Increased energy towards current work load and projects.
- Greater collaboration skills for working with colleagues.
What I appreciated about our sessions is that Polly took the time to truly listen to my needs, asked difficult questions, gave me space and patience to clarify my thoughts, provided thorough feedback, and followed by concrete tools to utilize moving forward. Polly, in her nature, is an ideal coach and facilitator.
