It’s challenging to get a group of people to work seamlessly together towards a common goal. We often emphasize that a successful team depends on the team leader’s communication with each team member. While this is important, what about how the team members communicate with each other?
At Polly Chandler Coaching, we know a team’s success depends on their familiarity with each other’s experience, knowledge, work styles and skill sets. Therefore, Strengths Strategy Team Training provides an opportunity for teams to map out their collective strengths. From there, teams are able to create strategies and structures within the team dynamic that result in clear, consistent and measurable outcomes.
STRENGTHS STRATEGY TEAM TRAINING INCLUDES:
We work together to evaluate the strengths of your team and set goals for a team training. Each workshop is customized to meet your specific goals.
Strengths Finder 2.0 Assessments
Each team member takes a strengths-finder assessment to give us a clear picture of everyone’s strengths. A spreadsheet is prepared to share the strengths of the entire team.
Managers need every tool possible to help create the conditions for their team to thrive. One-on-one coaching focused around the team results helps managers to assess individual team-member strengths paired with their strengths. We look at each person on the team and identify strategies to support, build and energize individuals on the team.
Team Trainings are most successful when all members of the team have had time to reflect on their personal strengths. Polly Chandler Coaching’s motto is: Start with self, then focus on the team, and then focus on the organization.
Customized Activities and Conversations
There is a place for PowerPoint content trainings; however, in strengths training we focus on designing workshops and retreats to meet your goals. Our culture audit guides the design of the training. Polly Chandler Coaching then creates the space for your team to have the conversations it’s been wanting—and needing—to have. Topics could include: team dynamics, collaboration, internal communication, customer service, strategic planning, change management, and culture development.
We offer business trainings in your office and at offsite retreat centers and meeting spaces. We believe in active learning; therefore, we also integrate outdoor activities for teams that want to get up and move. You may want to incorporate one outdoor activity to fit your goals in the green space around your building or meeting space. Another option for teams that likes to hike, Polly Chandler Coaching designs strengths trainings in National and State Parks. Hikes are customized for your ability, time, and location. To see some examples, see our Ecology of Strengths Workshops.
